The difference between precision and truth, why we say this out loud, and what to do with a reading that unsettles you.
Precision is not the same as accuracy
A calculator here can tell you that your expression number is 8 and show every step it took. That is precise, repeatable and checkable on paper. It says nothing about whether the number 8 means what tradition says it means.
The same holds in astrology. A moon phase can be computed to the hour, and the claim that a particular phase shapes a personality is a separate claim of a completely different kind. We keep those two things visibly apart, because collapsing them is how this material becomes misleading.
So when a page states a number confidently, that confidence belongs to the arithmetic. When it describes what the number tends to mean, read it as a tradition being reported, and one you are free to disagree with.
Why we say this on every page
It would be easy to leave the caveats to a page nobody reads. A lot of sites do, because certainty converts better than honesty. We would rather lose that and keep the site usable by people who want to think rather than be told.
There is also a practical reason. Readings can land at difficult moments. Somebody looking up a repeating number at three in the morning is often looking for reassurance, and material written to sound like prophecy can do real harm in that state.
So the writing avoids urgency, warnings and vague flattery. If a page here reads like a fortune telling script, that is a fault we want reported, and the editorial team page explains the checks meant to catch it.
If a reading worries you
No number, card or placement on this site predicts illness, death, financial ruin or the end of a relationship, and nothing here is written to suggest otherwise. If something reads that way to you, the writing has failed and we would like to know which page it was.
Symbolic material can amplify what you already feel. If you are anxious, close the tab and come back another day. That is a reasonable response and it is not a failure of understanding.
If you are struggling with your mental health, please speak to a doctor or a local support service. That is genuinely outside what any reading can help with, and we will always say so rather than offer a comforting interpretation instead.
Liability and responsibility
You are responsible for what you decide after reading something here. We accept no liability for actions taken in reliance on site content, which is the standard position and also the honest one for interpretive material.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any interpretation, calculation or generated document, although we do check the calculations against the tools and correct errors when they are found.
The terms of use carry the full legal framing and the privacy page covers what happens to what you type. If any of it is unclear, the contact page reaches a person who will explain it.
