How the number is worked out
Add the digits of the year, the month and the day, then reduce the total to a single digit or a master number: 9 + 12 + 1 = 22, reduced to 22.
The energy of the day
Twenty two is the builder of the master numbers, a 4 with a longer horizon. Ambition is useful today only if it is written down as a sequence of ordinary steps.
What the day favours
- Turning a vision into a schedule
- Long term commitments
- Work that will outlast the week
What to watch
- Scale used to postpone the first step
- Carrying the whole plan alone

Animals
A crane in the house
Cranes carry longevity in Japan and China, and a thousand folded ones carry a wish. Indoors the reading moves from the world to the household. Whatever the sign usually points at is happening inside your family, your home or your own head.
