How the number is worked out
Add the digits of the year, the month and the day, then reduce the total to a single digit or a master number: 9 + 10 + 26 = 45, reduced to 9.
The energy of the day
Nine completes. Endings today are rarely dramatic; they look like a file archived, a habit dropped or a conversation allowed to rest. Whatever you carry past tonight, you carry into the next cycle.
What the day favours
- Closing out the item you started on the 1 day
- Giving something away
- Forgiveness offered without an audience
What to watch
- Nostalgia used to avoid a decision
- Starting something new out of momentum
One practice for today
Write down one thing you are done carrying, then delete or discard the object attached to it.

A universal day 9 runs the way Pisces runs, so borrow the approach even if it is not your sign.

Nine closes, so the spread reads what ripened and what has finished.

Signs of completion, release and a chapter closing quietly.
Signs
Butterfly at a funeral in a dream
Butterflies at gravesides appear in mourning folklore worldwide as the soul departing well. Dreamed rather than seen, the sign is read as your own knowing rehearsing itself before you are ready to admit it.

A completion day often carries into sleep. If this symbol turns up tonight, read it against the number rather than on its own.
Emotions
Dreaming of offending
Who you are being, and for whose benefit. Keep the offending in view while you read.

One day rarely settles anything on its own. Its value is in the pattern it belongs to, which is why the cycle matters more than the date.
